5 Things Every German Shepherd Owner Needs
Meet Daisy. Miss Daisy. D-Dog. My Daisy Girl.

German Shepherds are amazing—but they come with a lot of hair (like a lot), strength, and energy. I’ve tried a lot of products, and these are the ones I actually use and would buy again. If you’re dealing with shedding, pulling, or just everyday life with a big dog, these are worth it.
1. My Favorite Pet Dryer
I don’t wash my German Shepherd often, people say it’s bad for their skin. However, I use this dryer to blow the hair, dander, and dirt out of Daisy’s coat. It works like a dream! I do think once a week – Daisy’s coat has never looked better, and there are fewer hair puffs on my floor.

2. Undercoat Rake
I’ve purchased 10 different combs and brushes for Miss Daisy big puffy coat. They are all ashes compared to this undercoat rake. It doesn’t pull or yank on my dog, allowing me to spend more time brushing.

3. Rubber Broom with Squeegee
What do you call the little piles of dog hair hiding under furniture and in corners? I call them puppies! This broom will round them all up! I use it on my steps, under my credenza, and on my low profile rugs. It’s faster than getting out my vacuum, and is handy when I spy one little puppy hiding. Side note: I’ve had this broom over 5 years, it’s worth every penny.

4 & 5. Gentle Leader and Heavy Duty Leash
DID SOMEONE SAY WALK?!?
Daisy loves a walk more than anybody I know. She is always down to take a strut up and down the road. I swear by this gentle leader and leash combo. The collar keeps her from pulling when her nose gets to working, and the leash feels so secure.
